New Atletico Madrid coach Gregorio Manzano hopes he can keep hold of Sergio Aguero.

The Argentina forward has expressed his desire to leave Atletico and has been heavily linked with cross-town rivals Real.

Manzano, however, was hopeful Diego Maradona's son-in-law might stay.

He said: "So far the club have not received any official offer for Aguero.

"I would love to add Aguero to a long list of great players I have coached."
