Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre says he's happy with the form this season of Jose Antonio Reyes.

The former Arsenal and Real Madrid attacker has failed to nail down a regular first team place in Aguirre's plans since his summer arrival, but the coach is confident there's a lot more to come from the Spain international.

He said: "He is an explosive, dynamic soccer player, one who can change a game and, in addition, score goals. I am pleased with him.

"He is a happy boy and fits very well in the dressing room.

"It is true that as much as he as others, he can improve his individual form. But Reyes is part of the team."
