Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre played down their title chances after last night's 4-0 victory over Recreativo.

Sergio Aguero was again on the mark, while Florent Sinama-Pongolle struck twice for the hosts and Aguirre said afterwards: "I love our passing game, but I reiterate that we are searching for a good balance between defence and attack.

"For some moments of the game we gave the feeling that we have gaps in midfield, leaving a lot of space."

He added: "We are only in week three. It's too early to talk about the championship.
