Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre insists he won't resign after their defeat to Real Valladolid last night.
"If I didn't feel I had support in the locker room," said the Mexican, "then I would rethink my position.
"But that's not the case. I have faith in my work and also in my players."
Aguirre also revealed Atletico president Enrique Cerezo had spoken to the players at the final whistle.
"Afraid for my job? Enrique (Cerezo) spoke with us, he spoke strongly with the players and me, but I'm still working. I have been told nothing.
"I have a contract and no-one has told me that it is over."
