Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre refused to comment on questions over Maniche's future after last night's 2-1 defeat at home to Espanyol.

Maniche is reported to have played his last game for Atletico as his name is circulated around Europe, but Aguirre would only say: "We're now on holiday. We'll see what happens when everyone returns.

"What happens in the locker room, stays there. That has always been my policy."
