Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre is aware of speculation that he needs a result against Liverpool tonight to save his job.

"I think it's normal to work with this pressure," said the Mexican. "It happens in all leagues and with any team at our level. And therefore, I am accustomed to these alarms.

"I am not one to discuss the thoughts of people who read about me. I always work on the margins of these things.

"I feel strong. We have had several meetings with both the players and the directors and they have shown me a lot of support on a daily basis."
