Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch was in Milan yesterday.
Both Inter and AC Milan enjoy a good relationship with Atletico and it's been suggested Pitarch was in Italy seeking talks over loan prospects.
The Atletico sports chief is in the market for a new centre-half after Clemens Fritz broke off negotiations last month to sign a new contract with Werder Bremen.
