Atletico Madrid are keen to bring Andres D'Alessandro back to Spain this summer.
The former Real Zaragoza midfielder is currently playing in Brazilian with Internacional de Porto Alegre.
Marca says Atletico sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch has already held talks with Argentina international D'Alessandro about a move to Madrid next season.
