Atletico Madrid have shown they are serious about signing Diego Costa by sending director Andrea Berta to London.
Multiple reports suggest the Atleti chief is in the English capital in order to negotiate a deal with Chelsea for striker Costa as well as winger Pedro Rodriguez.
Spanish publication Fichajes believes that Berta is determined to land the signature of former Los Rojiblancos star Costa and is also keen to try and wrangle a deal to nab Spaniard Pedro who is already being linked with a Stamford Bridge exit after only arriving from Barcelona in the summer.
Atletico are prepared to part with Colombian striker Jackson Martinez who has failed to deliver since joining from Porto for €35million in June last year and may use him as bait to land the Blues pair.
