Atletico Madrid chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin is quietly confident of holding onto Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Courtois is expected to return to Atletico next season should Petr Cech stay with Chelsea.

"He wants to stay and that's what he told his coach (Jose Mourinho).

"But it does not hang on him and Chelsea's goalkeeper (Petr Cech) is currently injured," said Gil Marin.
