Atletico Madrid chief Gil Marin: Florentino wanted Forlan for Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin has revealed they rejected an offer from Real Madrid in the summer for Diego Forlan.
"(Real president) Florentino Perez called me and told me he wanted to buy Diego Forlan and would include several players in return," said Gil Marin.
"Players such as Gabriel Heinze, Javier Saviola, Alvaro Negredo and some Dutch players were all mentioned. But we could never sell a player to our worst enemy. The support of our fans is more important than anything."

those atletico assholes got a BIG complex about the club... they have such a huge bitterness and you cant just know the reason why ..
when you hear their chiefs saying words like "worst enemy" stuff like that you just think yourself of they are into a 3rd WW. they might say all this coz they're tired losing to us everytime. this year will be even worst for 'em.. a rea kick in the asss.. right in the middle !
