Atletico Madrid chief José Luis Caminero says they're confident of Diego Simeone staying.

The Argentine coach has been linked with a return to Inter Milan.

But speaking with Kicker, Caminero expressed confidence that Simeone will still be in charge next season.

"Simeone has a contract until 2018, he and his staff have assured us to be happy to stay with us," he said.

"Simeone is 100 per cent focused on Atletico, we have nothing to fear."
