Liverpool are eyeing Atletico Madrid defender Sime Vrsaljko.
Corriere dello Sport reports Atletico director of football Andrea Berta has told them of the Reds' desire to sign the former Sassuolo man.
The 25-year-old full back is a regular Croatian international but has struggled to get into Diego Simeone's side, making just four league appearances in a campaign interrupted by injury.
Though predominantly a right back – a position in which Liverpool have two of the hottest properties in English football, as well as Nathaniel Clyne – Vrsaljko can also operate as a left back.
The story suggests the Spanish club have placed a 25 million euros price tag on the defender, who joined Atleti in 2016.
