Tottenham are facing stiff competition for Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann. The Daily Express says it has been well documented that Spurs' initial £15m bid wasn't enough to loosen Real Sociedad's grip on their young starlet.
Leaving the North London side with no option but to meet Griezmann's £25m buy-out clause.
But now Atletico Madrid have joined Spurs in the signing race.
Atletico coach Diego Simeone is desperate to land Griezmann after losing striking duo David Villa and Diego Costa in the same season.
And has more than adequate transfer funds after generating over £40m from the sale of his Chelsea converts.
