Atletico Madrid captain Maxi warns Bolton's Campo

Atletico Madrid captain Maxi Rodriguez is demanding an apology from Bolton's Ivan Campo after the midfielder branded Sergio Aguero "a fool" over his spitting incident last week.

Despite Atletico's appeal against the Argentine's dismissal being thrown out by UEFA, Maxi demanded an apology from Campo and backed home fans to target the Spaniard tonight.

"Our team did not like the comments made by Campo. They lacked respect," said Rodriguez.

"I expect him to apologise for his words when he comes to Madrid for the return game. Our fans will taunt him in the game if he does not retract his words."

Maxi added: "Bolton are playing poorly in the Premier League but in the first game they did not seem too bad to me.

"But I believe we are better than them and we will show that when we play them in our stadium.

"It will be difficult because they bring a one goal advantage with them, but we will fight and attack them in the knowledge that we have 90 minutes to turn things around."
