Atletico Madrid captain Gabi is performing a U-turn on a move to Al-Sadd.

Marca says it now seems like the midfielder is thinking about joining Qatar's Al-Sadd.

The Rojiblanco man has been studying Al-Sadd's offer, as a move to Qatar would be a radical change in his life and the player would go on to earn the kind of money he would never obtain at Atletico.

This offer to join Xavi's team would be for the next three years and Gabi would receive €19 million.

At 35 years of age, he recognises this will be the last big contract of his career.
