Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone was happy to see Fernando Torres on the scoresheet in victory over Getafe.

Simeone admits he's wanted more from the former Chelsea striker in recent weeks.

"He's a lot better. He in more involved with his team mates and his coordination is better. We need a lot more from him; he's used to the demands placed on him.

"He lives to score goals and he really need to get off the mark in the league. There's a healthy competition developing between him and Mandzukic, who is a decisive player for us. We needed a lot from Torres than what he has been giving."
