Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone was relieved with victory at Granada.
Atletico left Granada with all three points after a narrow 1-0 victory, one which Simeone admitted was too close for comfort after the match.
Pointing to the end-to-end nature of the action, the Argentine admitted his side could have lost the encounter with the relegation-threatened team.
"The first half was tough and then the second half went back and forth," he said in his post-match press conference.
"It could have been won by Granada or by ourselves.
"It was a very tough and very difficult match because they are strong at home and play very intensely."
Although it was tricky, Simeone was simply relieved to have escaped with the victory, especially considering his side had travelled south with a lengthy injury list.
"It is a very important result and was a hard-fought one," he told reporters.
"[It was hard] considering the difficult pre-match preparations."
