Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has defended France teammate Olivier Giroud.

The Chelsea striker is keeping his place in Les Bleus - and was rewarded with a goal last night.

After victory over Holland, Griezmann said: "We trust him.

"Sometimes the ball does not want to go in, that's right. And sometimes, you put it in anyhow and you fight back.

"It's up to us to help him."
