Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Chelsea fullback Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian returns to Atletico Madrid, for whom he played for four seasons before joining the Blues last summer in a £15.8m deal.

The clubs are believed to have agreed a fee in a similar region for the 29-year-old to return to Spain this summer on a four-year deal.

"We all know Filipe Luis. We strengthen ourselves with one of the most talented wing-backs in the world," said Atletico sporting director, Jose Luis Perez Caminero.

"He already knows our club and our way of playing so he will adapt quickly"
