Diego Simeone has agreed terms with Atletico Madrid over a new deal.

AS says Natalia Simeone, Diego's sister and agent, has reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid to tie Simeone to the club until 2020.

Natalia spent the afternoon tying up the loose ends to the new deal and left Atleti's offices at the Calderón stadium at 9.30pm.

The main terms of the new deal were already in place and with the final details finished off Simeone will be at the Calderón tomorrow (probably at 1pm) for the official presentation of the new deal.
