Atletico Madrid are emerging as favourites to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The France international is expected to leave at the end of the season and is fielding major interest from England and Germany.

However, Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Atletico are emerging as favourites to land Lacazette.

AC Milan are also being mentioned, but Atletico are in advanced talks, with close friend Antoine Griezmann also encouraging his France teammate to make the move.

Just last week, OL adviser Bernard Lacombe said: "Alex's departure will be very complicated for our club, because even if we're going to take a lot of money, he's a huge player and I think we'll realize his departure will make it much more complicated for us."
