Real Valladolid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo is fast becoming the hottest transfer property for the summer market.

The youngster's representatives, Fernando Redondo and Zoran Vekic, have fielded interest from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal in recent days.

Atletico have also made contact with Valladolid about a price for Asenjo, whose buyout clause is £4 million. With an auction likely, Valladolid are attempting to drive a hard bargain. They are seeking £5 million plus potentially two players from Atletico in exchange for the shot-stopper.

Barcelona are also keen, but Asenjo's girlfriend lives in Madrid and Atletico are quietly confident of winning the race for his signature.
