Atletico Madrid in advanced talks for Fluminense star Thiago Neves

Atletico Madrid were locked in negotiations last night with Fluminense for midfielder Thiago Neves.

AS says Atletico were discussing terms over a fee with Flu and also the method of payment for Thiago yesterday. Atletico are hoping to seal an agreement for around £9 million.

Atletico's move for Thiago is expected to see them end their interest in Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.
