Brad Guzan is preparing to leave Middlesbrough.

The Daily Mail says Guzan is in talks over a return to the USA with Atlanta United.

The 32-year-old has had a frustrating campaign so far after joining Boro from Aston Villa on a free transfer in the summer.

Guzan has had to play a supporting role to Victor Valdes and is keen to gain more game time. He is on the MLS select list of players as a USA international who is scheduled to return for the new season and Atlanta, as one of the expansion teams for 2017, have priority draft.
