The People says Liverpool are tracking Iker Muniain - the kid dubbed 'Bart' by Atletico Bilbao team-mates, who claim he is a dead-ringer for Homer Simpson's son.
Reds scouts have spent several months watching the 18-year-old winger, who has been one of the revelations of La Liga this season.
Muniain's contract, which has a £25m buy-out clause, runs until 2015 and Bilbao do not want to lose the Spain Under-21 international.
