Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente says his head wasn't turned in the final week of the winter market by interest from Tottenham and Liverpool.

Spurs are said to have made a formal approach for the Spain ace, while Liverpool also asked about his situation as they considered replacements for Fernando Torres.

"I try to keep my distance from what happens. It is normal to talk about these things when you're doing a good job," said Llorente. "I try to keep myself at the same form level, that is all that is important."

Asked if he was concerned a move to Real Madrid would now be blocked by their loan signing of Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor, Llorente replied: "No, I am only thinking of Athletic."
