Athletic Bilbao have clinched agreement for Real Zaragoza midfielder Ander Herrera.

El Correo says Herrera will play out the season with Real before moving to Bilbao in the summer.

The two clubs have agreed a €7.5 million fee for the youngster, with €4 million to be paid by Bilbao this week.

Bilbao management are excited by the potential midfield pairing of Herrera and Javi Martinez next season.
