Athletic Bilbao are seeking talks with Valencia over a new deal for on-loan left-back Asier del Horno.
The former Chelsea defender is on-loan at Athletic and can be signed permanently for £2 million in June. However, Athletic want to rip up the original agreement and sign Del Horno on-loan again next term.
Del Horno's current Valencia deal doesn't expire until 2012.
