Athletic Bilbao are ready to open new contract talks with Aitor Ocio.

The 34 year-old defender's current deal expires in June and coach Joaquin Caparros wants him to stick around.

Ocio has been troubled by injury this season, but has still had a big influence on Bilbao's rise to fifth place in the Liga standings.
