Former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has fielded an approach from a surprise new suitor.
Enrique is ready to return to football after a year's sabbatical following his departure from Barcelona last summer. The Asturian is understood to favour a move to England, where Arsenal and Chelsea are in contact.
However, the two London giants now face competition from the LaLiga, where Correo Vasco says Athletic Bilbao have Enrique under consideration.
José Angel Ziganda is under pressure at San Mames after their Europa League flop against Marseille and the board are actively drawing up a list of potential replacements. Along with Enrique, fellow free agents Thomas Tuchel and Eduardo Berizzo are also under consideration.
