Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa 'very, very good' says Chelsea boss Sarri

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri rates potential Thibaut Courtois replacement, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

But the Italian has refused to talk about speculation linking Courtois with a move to Real Madrid. The Belgian has gone AWOL after missing the previous two days of training.

Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao youngster Kepa is reportedly on the verge of joining the Blues. And speaking after his side beat Lyon in a friendly on Tuesday, Sarri admitted he has been impressed by the 23-year-old.

"If I don't know anything about Courtois, I don't know anything about Kepa, of course," he said.

"I saw him one year ago. My first impression was that he is a very good goalkeeper, very young, but very, very good."

On Courtois, Sarri added: "I don't know in this moment. I want to speak with my club and then we will decide about it. I am here to talk about this match,' Sarri said.

"Tomorrow I have a busy day, so I don't know anything about the market. I have to work in the morning and have a meeting with other coaches in the afternoon. I'd like to improve my players first of all."
