Athletic Bilbao defender Mikel San Jose is confident going into their Europa League tie with Red Bull Salzburg.

While a three-point haul would be the ideal return for Marcelo Bielsa's men, San Jose would not be unhappy with a draw.

"It's vital not to lose there. Getting a win is better, but a draw would put a ticket to the next round within our grasp," said the former Liverpool man, whose side needed to fight back from a 2-0 half-time deficit to salvage a point from their home match with Salzburg a fortnight ago.

"At San Mames they showed that they are a good team, and we need to go there with high hopes, but being very careful as well."
