Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte is fed up with the way he's been treated by France.

Laporte is upset being ignored by France coach Didier Deschamps.

"I'd like to be there more. I did all the youth teams, I was captain several years in the under 18, under 19, under 20. It makes me sad, but you have to respect the choices," Laporte told L'Equipe.

"One is playing for Chelsea (Kurt Zouma on-loan with Stoke City), the other with PSG (Kimpembe). I'm in Bilbao, a club that may not have enough value in France. Here, it does not prevent some Spanish players to play for the national team ... It seems that Marseille (Adil Rami), is superior to Athletic Bilbao. Everyone has his opinion. If it's lower, it's not much lower."
