Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde has confirmed interest in Atletico Madrid midfielder Raul Garcia.

Raul is being linked with a move to Bilbao today.

“There has been no official statement from the club so we'll wait and see.

"We've watched him whenever we have played against him. He's the kind of player who always gives everything for the team; he's a fighter, a professional and incredibly competitive. Of course I like him, we'll take a look at him," said Valverde.
