Atalanta attacker Cristiano Doni admits he can't stand Torino coach Walter Novellino.

The pair never saw eye-to-eye while at Sampdoria together and Doni told La Stampa: "I really want to win tomorrow's match.

"It means a lot to me for the total lack of friendship I have with Novellino. There's no point hiding it - I had two terrible years at Samp, because working with him was very difficult and stressful.

"There was an ugly atmosphere at the club and recently someone told me that since he left, the birds have started singing again…"

Doni also said: "He was always provoking me and if you don't respect a Coach, it is difficult to play your best football for him."
