Atalanta winger Ezequiel Schelotto insists he feels Italian.

The Argentine-born midfielder is in Italy's extended Euros squad.

"I want to debut with the full national side," the 22-year-old told La Repubblica. "I will always defend this shirt because I feel Italian.

"I dedicate this selection to my family, Atalanta and my Italian great grandfather given that I wouldn't have a passport without him.

"I already know the national anthem and I'll sing it - I already have done given my past with the Italian Under-21 side."
