Atalanta have reportedly turned down an offer from Everton for Franck Kessie.

GianlucaDiMarzio.com reports that the Italian club have rejected a bid of around £15million from the Toffees for the 20-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder.

Kessie is currently away with the Elephants for the 2017 African Cup of Nations, which kicks off this weekend, but there is no shortage of interest in his signature.

Chelsea are also being heavily linked with Kessie who could quite possibly be on his way out of Bergamo at the end of the season.

For now, however, Atalanta have no intention of losing him for the second half of the campaign, especially seeing as he may be away with his country until around mid-February.
