Atalanta striker Sergio Floccari has laughed off reports of an agreement with Roma.

"It's not true that I have already signed [for Roma]," joked Floccari. "Sure, it makes me happy to know that the Giallorossi are following me.

"But I still have not decided anything yet. An adventure abroad would not frighten me either. What would life be like without leaps in the dark?"

Atalanta President Alessandro Ruggeri has valued Floccari at £10m.

"That makes me 10 per cent of the valuation Man City gave for Kaka. Jokes aside, let's be clear. Kaka is one of my idols and I am happy he has decided to stay at Milan.

"I have a particular rapport with money. I have never attached it above my heart. When I left Messina [in 2007] I turned down a lot of money.

"In fact, last summer I could have been sold and earned a lot more. Money provokes collateral effects that I don't like."
