Atalanta striker Sergio Floccari has explained why he's rejected a move to Napoli.

"As a southern lad, Napoli has always been a focal point for me," insisted Floccari on Radio Marte.

"I only said that I needed to think carefully and make the right decision for my future. Perhaps I was misunderstood, but that is the truth.

"It hurt me to read I was unhappy about living in the city. I am well aware of the attractions in a place like Naples."
