Atalanta are set to win the race for Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic.

Pasalic is also a target for Fiorentina and is currently in Perth, Australia, with Chelsea's tour squad.

Sky Italia says Chelsea and Atalanta have an agreement over a season-long loan for the midfielder.

While he was favouring Florence, Pasalic is understood to have accepted Chelsea's decision to send him to Atalanta for the new campaign.

The deal is expected to be finalised next week when Chelsea return from their overseas tour.
