Atalanta have announced their intentions to sign permanently German Denis.

Denis arrived from Udinese in the summer and he's responded with 10 goals in 12 games to lead the scoring charts.

"We'll take up our option to buy him outright," Nerazzurri director Pierpaolo Marino said.

"Nobody has asked us for him, not even Inter as is being reported.

"He'll stay here as we have an agreement in place which we will certainly take up at the end of the present campaign."
