Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini hailed Papu Gomez for their 4-0 win over Frosinone.

Gomez scored twice and also had two assists in an outstanding performance.

Gasperini said, “This year he has prepared very well, he's come with good motivation and is doing beautiful things. Last season he was less reactive in goalscoring positions, but he still had a great season.

“There are a lot of commitments and we're missing the most important thing, which is reaching the Europa League groups.

“We're facing a team which finds itself in the Europa League, but has always previously competed in the Champions League.

“We're motivated, but we know it's not easy."
