Atalanta sports chief Pierpaolo Marino has hailed the form of Ezequiel Schelotto this season.

The winger's impact has attracted interest from Liverpool and Inter Milan.

Marino said: "He's 22, has youthful enthusiasm and an athletic exuberance that sees him able to ride challenges and run as if it were always the beginning of the match. He reminds me of the 1978 world champions Mario Kempes of Argentina.

"Should Schelotto go to the European Championships? Why not? He has physical strength and his qualities are those rewarded at international level."
