Aston Villa and West Ham United are chasing Le Havre striker Ryan Mendes.
Mendes, a Cape Verde international, is being followed by both Premier League clubs, says France Football.
The 21 year-old has been with Le Havre for three years and is enjoying a breakout campaign this season.
Villa and West Ham management are both convinced Mendes is capable of developing into a top class talent.
