Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood was scathing in his assessment of his side's performance on Sunday.
Villa were beaten 3-2 by Leicester City despite leading by two goals with 20 minutes remaining which prompted ire from the boss.
"The game was gone, it was finished with 30 minutes to go," Sherwood told Sky Sports.
"At this level it should be dead and buried but unfortunately we made unforced errors and it has cost us.
"The first goal gave them the momentum and unfortunately we couldn't wrestle it back from them.
"The only way to wrestle back momentum is to keep the ball and we just kept giving it back to them. It was not good enough."
He added: "The players were professional enough but know on reflection that Leicester didn't have to work very hard for their goals."
