Aston Villa are being linked with Stuttgart midfielder Alex Hleb.
The former Arsenal star has flopped in Germany, where he is on-loan from Barcelona.
Spanish sources say Villa are following developments and know Hleb sees no future for himself at Stuttgart, nor parent club Barca.
