Aston Villa have upped their offer for Charlton Athletic midfielder Dale Stephens.
The 22 year-old is the subject of a £2 million offer from Villa after a bid of £1.5 million was rejected earlier this week.
Sky Sports says Stephens has told the Addicks he wants the move to happen.
