Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew is facing an FA probe after defeat to Watford.
The Daily Star says the FA are set to investigate after the forward appeared to jump over advertising boards and confront Watford fans after Troy Deeney's last gasp winner.
The incident came in injury time as Villa snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, with Ayew on the bench after being subbed.
Team-mate Idrissa Gana also appeared to be involved and the pair were removed from the stand by stewards as Eric Black's side lost for an 11th Premier League game running.
Black said: “I thought it was only one [player] to be fair.
“I was watching the game at the time and looking at the players on the pitch. There was nothing. It was absolutely nothing."
There is no suggestion that anything more than words were exchanged but it is the latest storm to hit Villa who have been hit by one crisis after another this term.
