Aston Villa signing Michael Bradley is aiming to match the success of Fulham star Clint Dempsey in the Premier League.
The pair are USA teammates.
Bradley told Villa's website: "Clint has had a great season with a good number of goals.
"I know better than anybody how good a player Clint is and I am happy for him.
"Ever since he has come to the Premier League, Clint has found a way to get big goals that have really helped Fulham.
"For everybody in America, Clint is a guy who people look at as somebody to follow."
